    Diatonic harmonica

    Manuel Šavron was born in 1991 in Koper (Slovenia). At the age of 10 he started to play the accordion as an autodidact. One year later, he took lessons to learn the Styrian harmonica. In September 2008, he began studying with Prof. Z. Lupinc and completed the first part of his harmonica studies in 2010 with excellent success. In 2014 he moved to Austria and began his master's degree in diatonic harmonica at the Franz Schubert Conservatory in Vienna, which he graduated in 2016 with honors.
    He has won many national and international competitions, e.g. he was European champion in 2009.

  • Loui Herinx

    Loui Herinx
    Harmonica virtuoso

    Loui Herinx was born in Brunssum (Netherlands) in 1981 and grew up in a musically active home. Especially the alpine music was a favourite of the whole family.
    At the age of eight, Loui began his musical career. At the beginning he played accordion and keyboard. Shortly thereafter the Styrian harmonica which is his absolute favorite instrument now.
    In 2008 he won the junior prize at the Accordion Festival in Limburg (NL).
    He completed his apprenticeship as a retail salesman in the musical field and has become sales manager of LIMEX since 2009. Eastern Austria, where he works and lives, has now become his second home.
